We worked with Georgia Rouette to engage artists Bailer and Michael Porter for a mural project involving youth. Georgia was organised and efficient to work with and made facilitating the mural project a dream.

Over the years I have worked with Georgia Rouette on a large variety of art projects. She has helped turn stressful situations into well orchestrated events. Georgia has written grant proposals, secured grants, liaised with clients, organised permits, hired equipment, engaged designers, provided support and more.

Georgia even helped with my first solo art exhibition, from finding an appropriate space, to having a brochure designed and printed and advertising the event. Working together is a breeze and I look forward to collaborating on our next project.

We have had the pleasure of working with Georgia on a number of projects over since 2015. Each project has been carefully curated and executed to perfection. We enjoy hearing the stories of the vision behind each mural, sculpture or installation and the engagement that has been undertaken with the Client, Artist and Community.

Georgia approaches each project professionally and is wonderful to work with in all phases of the project. Georgia and the Cultural matters team are invested in their artists and delivering a unique and successful project. That sets Cultural Matters aside from others is their ability to see the projects vision, listen and translate the art speak for developers and corporate clients while respecting the artists process. We have no hesitation and its my absolute pleasure to recommend Cultural Matters to anyone.

Kingston Arts is more than happy to endorse Georgia’s approach to public art curation and management. Her work is impeccable, experienced and always delivered on time. Georgia works incredibly hard to meet her clients’ needs and those of the artist, ensuring the quality and merit of artwork remains a high priority in all circumstances. We would love to work with her more often.

Mackay Regional Council engaged Principal Consultant Georgia Rouette in 2018 to undertake a review of council’s public art processes and facilitate local consultation activities with internal and external stakeholders and the community-at-large to inform the development of a 5-year Public Art Strategy.

Georgia was wonderful to work with. Her knowledge of best-practice commissioning processes and her ability to engage diverse interest groups in lively conversations about the value of public art ensured the creation of a practical, living strategic document that guides the development of public art in our region and truly reflects the aspirations of our community.

It was a great pleasure to work with Georgia on the touring exhibition Postcards from the Mornington Peninsula which was sponsored and supported by the Mornington Peninsula Shire. I engaged Georgie to curate and project manage the installation of this exhibition.

Her professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail ensured that this project was a great success. Her rapport with the Mornington Peninsula Local History Network was genuine and respectful. I have no hesitation in recommending Georgia as a highly competent arts and culture project consultant.
